Coming in 2025! The Potato Reset: Revised & Expanded Edition with New Recipes & Updates!

Seven years ago, The Potato Reset revolutionized the way I think about food. Since then, I’ve been on an incredible journey—experimenting in the kitchen, gathering invaluable feedback from you, the readers, and discovering new ways to take this book to the next level. I’m thrilled to announce that the revised and expanded edition will be coming your way in 2025!

When I wrote the original edition, I didn’t have an air fryer or a pressure cooker—two kitchen gadgets I now consider essential. These tools, along with years of perfecting the art of cooking potatoes, have inspired me to update the book with even more helpful tips, updated recipes, new recipes and better instructions.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming in the new edition:

Air Fryer Instructions for All Crispy Recipes
I’ll be adding air fryer instructions to all of the crispy recipes—old and new—so you can enjoy the convenience of your air fryer while still getting that perfectly crispy potato texture!

15-20 New Delicious Potato Recipes
You asked for more, and I’ve delivered! Expect 15-20 new recipes that are simple, satisfying, and perfect for anyone looking to add variety to their Potato Reset meals.

Pressure Cooking Instructions for Soups and Wet Recipes
Whether you’re cooking on the stovetop or using a pressure cooker, I’ve included both methods for all of the soup and wet recipes in the book, so you can make them in whatever way works best for you.

Potato Varieties Chart
Ever wondered which potato is best for mashed potatoes, roasting, or baking? I’ve put together a handy chart to help you choose the right potato for each recipe.

Expanded Batch Cooking Section
Batch cooking just got easier! The updated section will guide you through how to prep and store your potatoes for meals throughout the week.

Updated Product Recommendations
I’ve added updated (some new) recommendations for sauces, spices, kitchen gadgets, and appliances—everything you need to make your Potato Reset experience even better.

New “In Consideration” Section
I’ve created a special section for those who want to modify The Potato Reset to suit their personal goals. Whether you want to add in fruit or adjust for higher protein needs, this section will give you practical advice for making the reset your own.

Your Feedback Wanted!
I’d love to hear from you—if there’s anything you’d like to see in the new edition, please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts. Drop a comment below or email me at jeannine@potatoreset.com.

I can’t wait to share this new edition with you in 2025. Stay tuned for more details!

Crispy Mashed Potato Fries

These are one of my favourite ways of preparing potatoes. They are oh soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. They remind me a little of those hash brown patties from a fast food breakfast menu – without the oily mess. Both air fryer and oven cooking methods are included in the instructions.… Read More

Veggie Burger Bowl

I don’t really consider this a recipe but more of a how-to-throw-together a healthy burger bowl. Feel free to use any vegan burger recipe you already love. It’s a great way to get that burger craving fix without the bun – for those avoiding gluten or bread. I love how the mini burgers crisp up and… Read More

These are perfect for salads, soup or snacking! If you’re wondering how long these will store, don’t bother. I guarantee you will eat them up before you even have a chance to put them in a container. These cheesy tasting croutons are especially perfect for tomato soup. They stay crispy for longer than crackers but… Read More

EASY Hearty Veggie Soup, Two Ways

This soup reminds me of those alphabet noodle soups I used to love when I was a kid. You really can’t go wrong with a tomatoey based soup! The rice version can easily be turned into a chilli by adding some canned beans and chilli powder. Original Potato Reset Version: 3 medium potatoes, peeled and… Read More

Spooky Crispy Potato Bites

As a junk food addict I sometimes feel left out during the various holidays throughout the year, especially Halloween. My two favourite things in one holiday: playing a character and eating junk! Unfortunately, typical Halloween ‘treats’ don’t treat my body well so I swapped the junk for something healthy: Spooky Crispy Potato Bites and SpiderHash, I hope… Read More

The Potato vs Sweet Potato

Great news for spud loving folks: the white potato is just as nutritious as the sweet potato (I was so excited I may have squealed when I found out). I assumed that sweet potatoes were superior due to their rich colour and what I’ve heard from the media. Take a look for yourself, it really just boils down to personal… Read More
