Seven years ago, The Potato Reset revolutionized the way I think about food. Since then, I’ve been on an incredible journey—experimenting in the kitchen, gathering invaluable feedback from you, the readers, and discovering new ways to take this book to the next level. I’m thrilled to announce that the revised and expanded edition will be coming your way in 2025!
When I wrote the original edition, I didn’t have an air fryer or a pressure cooker—two kitchen gadgets I now consider essential. These tools, along with years of perfecting the art of cooking potatoes, have inspired me to update the book with even more helpful tips, updated recipes, new recipes and better instructions.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming in the new edition:
Air Fryer Instructions for All Crispy Recipes
I’ll be adding air fryer instructions to all of the crispy recipes—old and new—so you can enjoy the convenience of your air fryer while still getting that perfectly crispy potato texture!
15-20 New Delicious Potato Recipes
You asked for more, and I’ve delivered! Expect 15-20 new recipes that are simple, satisfying, and perfect for anyone looking to add variety to their Potato Reset meals.
Pressure Cooking Instructions for Soups and Wet Recipes
Whether you’re cooking on the stovetop or using a pressure cooker, I’ve included both methods for all of the soup and wet recipes in the book, so you can make them in whatever way works best for you.
Potato Varieties Chart
Ever wondered which potato is best for mashed potatoes, roasting, or baking? I’ve put together a handy chart to help you choose the right potato for each recipe.
Expanded Batch Cooking Section
Batch cooking just got easier! The updated section will guide you through how to prep and store your potatoes for meals throughout the week.
Updated Product Recommendations
I’ve added updated (some new) recommendations for sauces, spices, kitchen gadgets, and appliances—everything you need to make your Potato Reset experience even better.
New “In Consideration” Section
I’ve created a special section for those who want to modify The Potato Reset to suit their personal goals. Whether you want to add in fruit or adjust for higher protein needs, this section will give you practical advice for making the reset your own.
Your Feedback Wanted!
I’d love to hear from you—if there’s anything you’d like to see in the new edition, please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts. Drop a comment below or email me at jeannine@potatoreset.com.
I can’t wait to share this new edition with you in 2025. Stay tuned for more details!

I’m so pleased to see you’ve created new content. I’ve missed you Jenine.
Thank you Lynn
Excited for the revised edition! I have the first one and love it. Thank you
thank you! I wanted to do more Potato Reset recipes but I didn’t feel it warranted an entire new book with all new recipes. I think a nice update with 15-20 new recipes is a great balance. Then I can move on to the next book, for what to eat after the Potato Reset! I am excited!
What a great idea to make your book even more relevant.
I would love to see more suggestions and recipes for dressings and appropriate sauces. I live in the UK and we can’t buy most of the condiments that you use in North America, so simple recipes would be much appreciated.
Keep up the good work!
Polly
In the current book there is 15 homemade sauce recipes, I feel they all provide a nice base for you to create your own variations through modifying them. I will see if I can create a few more sauce recipes or at the very least a guide on how to do that.
So excited to hear about the revised book! I still use the original book all the time 🙂 If you need any specific feedback- let me know!
Hi from the U.K.
I always love your books and emails. I’ve REALLY put SO much weight on because I’m not eating correctly – I hope to get motivated after the holidays here in the U.K.
I’ve had an air fryer for about 18 months. Sadly we live in such a little house that I can’t fit a pressure cooker into, well, anywhere!!
I’ve got your last book and I just need a quick kick up the you know where to get motivated again.
Thanks too you for all your kind words, recipes and making things easy to make.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season. Your ‘doglets too. We have a whippet ,Sammy, who has an awful limp and we’re trying to give him a specially made for him a thing to sprinkle on his food once a day. If not it’s the vet – he won’t even let us clip his nails and there is no way he’ll let the vets just look at him without an anaesthetic. We worry as he will be 13 in a couple of months.
Sorry to take up so much of your precious time.
Take care and enjoy the holiday season – from our house to yours xxx
Oh I can’t wait! Do you have an idea when it will be released? Will you have a hard copy?
